A pocket doula is essentially an impartial support person that is on-hand to support you remotely.

This means that I will support you & your partner during pregnancy, birth & those early postpartum weeks over the phone through calls, texts, WhatsApp messages & voice notes. 

We will meet over zoom for 3 x birth & postpartum preparation sessions. You can read more about what each of these sessions entail here. 

I’ll then go on-call for your birth when you are 38 weeks pregnant, which will mean I’ll be reachable 24/7 to support as and when you go into labour, being available as a support person from a distance to discuss anything that comes up for you.

My support continues through your postpartum time and includes 1 x birth reflections session over zoom & ongoing support via phone/text/whatsapp during those first 6 weeks. 

A pocket doula is a great option for those who want continuity of care during their pregnancy, but either cannot afford a doula, or do not want a doula in their birth space.
